What to expect when you collect and return your car. Your rental offer has the exact terms.
- Step 1
Documents to bring
The main driver's driving licence and IC or passport. The supplier checks them before handing over the car.
- Step 2
Security deposit
Paid to the supplier at pickup and returned after the rental. The amount is shown with each car before you book.
- Step 3
Check the car together
The supplier records the car's condition, fuel and mileage with you. Point out any marks you see before you drive off.
- Step 4
Flight or ferry late?
Tell the supplier your new arrival time from your booking page (Running late). They hold the car for you within their own limits.
- Step 5
Returning the car
Bring it back to the agreed place by the return time. You get a reminder before it's due; late returns follow your rental terms.
