How It Works
Renting a car in Langkawi, from your first search to returning the car.
Step 1: Search
Choose where and when you want the car. You see cars from trusted local suppliers that are free for your dates.
- Pick up at the airport, the jetty or another point, or have the car delivered where offered.
- Set the number of cars if you travel as a group.
Step 2: Compare
Compare models, suppliers and the full price for your dates side by side.
- The price you see is the full rental price for your dates.
- Each car shows its cancellation terms and the security deposit before you book.
Step 3: Book and pay
Add extras such as a child seat or GPS, enter the driver's details and confirm.
- Pay online by card or online banking on a secure payment page.
- You get a booking number and a confirmation email straight away.
Step 4: Pick up
Meet the supplier at the pickup point you chose, or at your place for a delivery.
- Bring the main driver's driving licence and IC or passport.
- Pay the security deposit to the supplier; it is returned after the rental.
- Check the car together and note any marks before you drive off.
Step 5: Manage your trip
Open your booking at any time to see the details, contact the supplier or make changes.
- Change your dates or extras up to 24 hours before pickup; some changes need the supplier's approval.
- Flight or ferry late? Tell the supplier your new arrival time from your booking page.
- Cancel online; the refund follows the cancellation terms shown on your booking.
Step 6: Return
Bring the car back to the agreed place by the return time. You get a reminder before it's due.
- The car is checked with you on return.
- Your deposit is returned under the rental terms once the return is settled.
